Poetry in Motion is back!!!!!

...and i am immensely HONORED to have a poem on the subway and on metrocards. The poem on the subway is paired with a mosaic by artist Elizabeth Murray. Other writers and artists whose work is part of the recent poetry in motion curation: Dorothea Tanning, Joan Linder, Kevin Young, Raul Colón, Tracy K. Smith, Amy Bennett, Billy Collins, and Chase Twichell!!!!

from the u.s. national archives, 1973, chicago
There you first fully entered the name that is yours,
you stepped toward yourself on steady feet,
the hammers swung free in the belfry of your silence,
things overheard thrust through to you,
what's dead put its arm around you too,
and the three of you walked through the evening.
